The Nooz are very compact, lightweight (6 grams!), elegant and comfortable reading glasses. They can be slipped into a pocket, a wallet or hung on a key ring. With no temples, the Nooz can be fixed directly on the nose thanks to its hypoallergenic elastomer support.
Ixiade designed the Nooz in collaboration with the Centre d’Ophtalmologie du Dauphiné in Grenoble. After exploratory interviews with presbyopic patients, the Ixiade designers developed and tested numerous prototype glasses before arriving at the final design of the Nooz.
